Who We Are

Our goal is to create resonant experiences that put the player in charge of the story, giving them agency where most games take it away. Our first original title Dispatch was released in 2025.
About the Role
We’re looking for a QA Lead to oversee external QA vendors and create internal QA processes and acceptance criteria for production and release. The ideal candidate is well versed in all phases of game development and can advise on standards for development play tests, user testing and build submissions. The QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring our developers deliver stable and compliant builds for all supported platforms. They may be expected to test at early phases of production before overseeing external QA resources later on.
Responsibilities:
Build and define the studio’s internal FQA and CQA pipelines and testing strategies
Create test plans aligned with project milestones in coordination with Production that establish clear acceptance criteria
Work with Production to outline the strategy, methods, and goals for internal playtests and external user testing
Review vendor and user bug reports and perform regular upkeep of internal bug backlog
Perform regular bug triage with development teams and establish clear hierarchy for bug severity and priority
Report on bug trends, build stability, crash rates and risks
Coordinate pre-certification tests and 1st party compliance
Work closely with QA vendors and the Release Manager to deliver compliant builds for 1st party certification and all supported platform releases
Oversee user bug reporting and advise on patch release strategy
Requirements:
Shipped at least one console title through certification
Experience working with external QA vendors
Deep familiarity with bug tracking software like JIRA
Positive and self-driven attitude with the ability to participate in a collaborative environment
Able to write clear, concise and accurate communication, with the ability to summarize complex topics
Preferable Experience:
Localization QA experience
Understanding of compliance requirements for major platforms
Experience working in the Unreal Engine
Experience working in interactive narrative
A passion for better representation in games and game development
